Let’s talk all things regarding women and finance!

We are Anna and Alexandra and we have a driving passion for finances and education.

Originally from Germany, we made Cape Town our home many years ago. We both run our own businesses and are responsible for our own financial future (read: no wealthy husbands, great inheritances or lottery wins waiting for us).

We became friends over 10 years ago and soon realised that being freelancers and not being able to rely on the government for a comfortable retirement, we need to make sure that we will not fall on hard times once we retire. But where to begin?

So we started reading, studying, doing courses, more reading, more research and eventually found what works for us. And not just us – many finance gurus and wizards recommend the same strategy.

But talking to other women, we realised that many women do not feel comfortable talking about money because they feel they don’t know enough about that topic.

We address core topics regarding that of women and finance, and the sometimes complex relationship between the two. We are here to help improve your relationship with money within a uniquely South African context. Yes, you can build wealth from your income and become financially independent with a sound plan to suit your needs.

But money can be such a fascinating topic, so we wanted to change that and the idea for our Step-by-Step Guide to Financial Independence was born. A guide by women for women to learn how to become the master of their finances and eventually to become a Money Magnet!
